Animal Control Officer

The Animal Control Officer role is onsite in San Mateo, CA, with compensation of $25–$30 per hour. What you'll do

• Respond to stray, sick, injured, or aggressive domestic animals and wildlife
• transport animals or provide field euthanasia when necessary
• perform technical rescues and enforce animal laws
• investigate incidents, prepare and execute warrants, and collaborate with legal authorities
• write reports and maintain records
• assist with veterinary exams, rabies quarantine cases, and deceased animal removal
• educate the public
• maintain radio communications and vehicle readiness
• participate in outreach as needed.
