What you'll do

• Conduct or assist with treatment and rehabilitation
• perform or assist with basic assessments and evaluations
• identify diagnoses and provide patient education
• observe, document, and report progress
• assist with counseling and therapeutic activities
• take precautions against injury or suicide
• record vital signs
• coordinate care and referrals
• maintain treatment records
• support patients experiencing acute or post-traumatic stress reactions.
