The Mortgage Loan Originator role is based onsite in Aspen, Colorado, with more than half of working time spent away from First Western offices soliciting mortgage business. The originator develops referral relationships, evaluates applicants and loan options, and guides transactions through processing and closing. Timely, accurate applications and disclosures help clients access suitable mortgage solutions while meeting regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Develop referral networks through prospecting, networking, cold-calling, and community outreach
• solicit mortgage loan business
• oversee transactions through processing and closing
• respond to inquiries and referrals within 24 hours
• interview applicants and assess financial information
• submit complete applications and supporting documents within 72 hours
• complete accurate and timely loan disclosures
• meet sales volume goals.
