Home Health Aide (HHA)

The Home Health Aide role is onsite in Shelby, NC, with care normally performed in patients’ homes; compensation is not specified. The aide helps clients with daily living activities, observes and reports changes in condition, and follows assigned care plans and applicable policies. The role supports safe, consistent care while respecting patient rights and staying within the scope of permitted aide duties.

What you'll do

• Record temperature, pulse, and respirations
• assist with bathing, grooming, skin care, oral hygiene, toileting, nutrition, ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• assist with meal preparation, shopping, homemaking, and medication reminders as assigned
• use infection-prevention measures
• follow the service plan
• document care and report changes in condition or safety
• complete required in-services and participate in requested quality and emergency-preparedness activities.
