The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the facility's operations, including billing and collections, accounts payable, and payroll.

What you'll do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the business office, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Prepare and present financial reports to facility management and corporate office
• Manage the payroll process, including timekeeping, payroll processing, and payroll tax compliance
• Monitor and maintain accurate census data to ensure proper billing and reimbursement
• Manage the facility's petty cash and cash receipts processes
• Provide support and guidance to the facility's management team on financial matters

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare finance, preferably in a skilled nursing facility
