The Ship Cost Estimator role is onsite in Portsmouth, VA, supporting Navy clients at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Compensation is $45,000–$46,000 per year. The role supports analysis and planning for aircraft carrier maintenance and modernization programs. By organizing government data, evaluating costs and requirements, and preparing supporting documentation, the estimator helps inform program decisions, funding, and schedules.

What you'll do

• Retrieve, organize, and analyze government data related to life-cycle maintenance and modernization.
• Support validation and cost-benefit analysis of maintenance and modernization requirements, including Reliability Centered Maintenance tasks.
• Track cost savings, avoidances, and increases affecting aircraft carrier operating and support costs.
• Support Technical Foundation Paper and Program Objective Memorandum documentation, and analyze labor and materials data for carrier availabilities and life-cycle planning.
