Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Restoration Technician role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, and pays $17–$20 per hour. SERVPRO of Southeast Grand Rapids responds to property damage and works to restore affected properties. The technician responds to water- and fire-damage emergencies, performs extraction, drying, cleanup, and other restoration work, and communicates job-site needs and findings to supervisors and clients. The role helps move projects forward by preparing vehicles and equipment and completing restoration tasks safely.

What you'll do

• Respond to water- and fire-damage emergencies
• evaluate and perform restoration activities, including water extraction, equipment setup, and demolition
• load and maintain work vehicles
• communicate hazards and job-site findings
• explain the restoration process to clients
• perform drying and cleanup.
