The Porter role is onsite in Salisbury, MD, at a 96-unit residential community. Compensation is $19 per hour. The porter supports MRK’s property operations by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming grounds, common areas, apartments, and offices. The role helps keep the property in good condition for residents and visitors and prepares vacated apartments for incoming residents. It also assists maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance, capital improvements, and work orders as needed.

What you'll do

• Patrol the property and remove trash and debris from grounds and common areas
• clean dumpster areas and vacuum, sweep, and mop
• restore vacated apartments to move-in condition, including cleaning and touch-up painting as needed
• perform grounds maintenance, including weed removal, grass cutting, planting, and snow and leaf removal
• clean the property office and complete janitorial tasks
• assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance, capital improvements, and work orders.

Why this role

Must be available for a flexible schedule and on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays. Travel up to 10% may be required to assist other properties. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ANSI-approved steel-toe or composite shoes are required.
