The Senior Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert, Program Management role is onsite at JBSA–Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. The target salary range is $120,000–$150,000 per year. The role supports federal government customers and Department of War missions through TekSynap’s information technology programs. The position leads program execution and cybersecurity oversight across concurrent initiatives, aligning delivery with contractual requirements, mission objectives, and applicable regulations. It combines program leadership with senior expertise in risk management, security authorization, compliance, and cybersecurity operations to support secure, mission-critical outcomes.

What you'll do

• Lead cybersecurity and information technology program execution
• manage cost, schedule, staffing, technical performance, risk, and quality
• serve as primary contact for government stakeholders
• coordinate multidisciplinary teams
• oversee reporting, metrics, briefings, risk registers, and corrective actions
• provide leadership to cybersecurity engineers, analysts, and project managers
• support RMF, security authorization, compliance, vulnerability management, incident response, and security architecture
• review cybersecurity artifacts and support audits and authorization decisions.
