What you'll do

• Process and submit medical claims
• verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• review and resolve denials, rejections, and appeals
• post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and credits
• follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and unpaid claims
• respond to patient billing inquiries
• follow coding guidelines, payer policies, and HIPAA regulations.
