Facilities Specialist, HVAC and Plumbing

Job overview

Compensation is $30–$35 per year. The Facilities Specialist, HVAC and Plumbing role is onsite across Peter & Paul Community Services facilities in Saint Louis, MO; in the posting. The role is part of the Facilities Department and reports to the Director of Facilities. The specialist maintains safe, functional, and mechanically reliable facilities by diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems. The work supports uninterrupted operations and a safe, compliant, and dignified environment for clients and staff.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
• complete plumbing repairs and installations
• conduct preventive maintenance
• respond to urgent mechanical failures, including after-hours emergencies when needed
• coordinate specialized work with licensed contractors
• complete work orders
• assist with minor electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• monitor life-safety systems
• document maintenance and inspections
• and coordinate priorities with the Facilities Coordinator.
