What you'll do

• Counsel patients about surgeries

• complete consent and other forms
• send paperwork to surgical facilities or hospitals
• explain pre-admission testing and surgery-day expectations
• answer pre-surgical questions and explain follow-up care
• prepare medical history and physical forms.
