The Substance Abuse Counselor Assistant – Assessor is an onsite, full-time role in Dayton, OH, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The Assessor provides counseling and crisis support, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and maintains clinical documentation to help clients address barriers and pursue recovery and wellness.

What you'll do

• Facilitate individual and group counseling
• collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals
• maintain clinical documentation, progress notes, and treatment plans
• participate in team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision
• provide crisis intervention and coordinate appropriate resources
• advocate for clients and provide culturally competent care.
