Behavior Technician

Job overview

The Behavior Technician is an onsite, part-time position in Los Angeles, CA, paying $20–$24 per hour. MeBe provides evidence-based therapies for children with autism and other special needs, including occupational therapy, speech, and applied behavior analysis. The role helps children build behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills through one-to-one sessions at home or in a MeBe Learning Center clinic. The technician follows BCBA-developed treatment plans, records progress, and shares observations with clinical supervisors to support assessment and treatment planning.

What you'll do

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in one-to-one sessions at clients’ homes or the Learning Center clinic
• follow BCBA-developed treatment plans
• report progress to BCBAs and assist with assessments
• record behavior analysis and progress in Central Reach
• submit session notes
• support children with meals, bathroom breaks, and diaper changing
• maintain a safe, organized workplace
• communicate with supervisors and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
