MRI Technical Assistant

Job overview

The MRI Technical Assistant role is onsite in Lutherville-Timonium, MD, with compensation of $18–$24 per hour. RadNet’s imaging team focuses on quality, value, and access in patient care. This role supports safe, organized MRI exams by gathering patient histories and safety information, assisting technologists with patient preparation and monitoring, and maintaining patient flow and a clean clinical environment.

What you'll do

• Collect accurate patient medical histories and MRI safety information and record them in charts or electronic medical records
• document patient communications during exams
• help MRI technologists prepare, set up, position, and monitor patients
• maintain supplies and assist with patient flow
• obtain prior imaging and diagnostic records
• support procedures, including coil setup and MRI suite cleanup
• decontaminate equipment and maintain a clean, safe control room
• follow HIPAA, safety, and PPE requirements.
