Psychiatrist (Part-Time)

What you'll do

• Provide psychiatric and substance-use treatment in an outpatient clinic during scheduled hours
• conduct psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments
• assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
• prescribe, recommend, or discontinue medications and treatments within applicable regulations
• manage medications and reassess patients as needed
• counsel patients on medication benefits and risks
• order and interpret labs
• respond to client emergencies and be accessible to crisis on-call clinicians when appropriate
• collaborate with treatment teams
• complete medical records and billing entries
• refer patients when appropriate
• participate in case staffings and agency training.
