The nurse provides direct care during open-heart and cardiovascular procedures, applying cardiac anatomy, surgical instrumentation, and hemodynamic monitoring knowledge. The role collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to anticipate needs, manage equipment, and maintain a safe procedural environment; on-call coverage is approximately once per week and one weekend per month, subject to department needs.

Why this role

Days, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; on-call approximately once per week and one weekend per month. One year of acute-care Open Heart/CVOR RN experience and Florida or approved multistate RN license required; BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; BSN and CNOR preferred.
