The Equipment Operator is an onsite role based in Belton, SC. Compensation is not specified, and this position supports the Belton Landfill team at Waste Connections. This role exists to facilitate the efficient handling of waste materials through the operation of heavy equipment. The operator contributes to the team by maintaining equipment readiness and ensuring all site safety protocols are met in all weather conditions.

What you'll do

• Operating equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavators, and off-road dump trucks.
• Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment such as checking oil, water, and tires.
• Working outside in all weather conditions.
• Lifting 50lbs repeatedly and climbing in and out of equipment cabs.
