Mental Health Therapist

The Mental Health Therapist role is onsite in McLean, VA, with opportunities to provide telehealth services; compensation is $72,000–$85,000 per year. The therapist supports Ellie Mental Health’s work to improve and expand access to quality mental health care. The therapist evaluates clients, develops and implements treatment plans, and provides individual, family, group, play, or telehealth services to help clients work toward their goals while coordinating care with families and other professionals.

What you'll do

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses
• create and implement treatment plans
• complete ongoing documentation, treatment plan reviews, and case notes
• maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions per week
• use creative interventions to support client goals
• coordinate services with case managers, families, work and medical personnel, Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
• attend clinical staff meetings and training.
