Compensation is $38 per week. The Cook role is onsite in Prophetstown, IL; The position supports food service at Winning Wheels, an 88-bed nonprofit rehabilitation facility for young adults with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries and other neurological impairments. The cook prepares and serves meals suited to residents’ dietary textures and supports the facility’s daily food service through ingredient preparation, cleaning, and inventory stocking. The posting lists day, swing, and PRN openings; all positions must work every other weekend and some holidays.

What you'll do

• Cook meals, read recipes, prepare ingredients, serve pureed, mechanical-soft, and general-texture diets three times daily, wash dishes, clean, serve residents’ meals, and stock inventory.
