The Lead Clinical Aide role is onsite in Rochester, NY, supporting Villa of Hope’s Detox Services program. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour. The role provides leadership for the clinical aide team and supports patient admissions and care in the therapeutic milieu. The aide leads and supports the clinical aide team while assisting patients with admission, orientation, screening, and day-to-day care. The role contributes to a safe, hygienic environment and a positive patient experience in the detox program.

What you'll do

• Guide, train, and schedule clinical aides and arrange coverage
• perform patient care procedures that may include vital signs
• manage non-nursing admission tasks
• obtain admission urine tests and perform screening per unit policy
• orient and room patients
• maintain a clean environment
• mediate between patients and providers
• sterilize equipment and sanitize areas
• assist nursing staff
• prepare rooms and assist with laundry. Client transportation may be required on occasion.

Why this role

Associate degree or higher and medical assisting diploma, certificate, or associate degree required; one year of supervisory experience in behavioral health required; New York State CNA certification is a plus.
