Senior Technology Product Owner

Job overview

The Senior Technology Product Owner is an onsite role based in West Chicago, IL. The expected salary range is $100,000–$120,000 per year, and this role supports the technology department at Covista, a leader in healthcare education. This role exists to define the vision of the portfolio and products, driving the planning, prioritization, and execution of backlogs to deliver new features that support strategic goals. The Product Owner coaches team members on business processes and ensures technology roadmaps align with business objectives to maximize value for students and colleagues.

What you'll do

• Define product vision and drive planning, prioritization, and execution of backlogs
• Coach Technology Product Owners on business processes and capabilities
• Decompose initiatives into portfolio and product roadmaps
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align planning with business goals
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to finalize roadmaps
• Ensure technology products are scalable, stable, and performant
• Define methodology for analyzing metrics and value post-delivery
• Build relationships with senior business stakeholders
• Facilitate business process and product mapping sessions
• Partner with vendors to understand product roadmaps and maximize efficiency
• Maintain quality and integrity of product introductions and enhancements
• Manage deliverables to 'done' status and coordinate deployments
• Build a peer group community for learning and development
• Track and report on KPIs and success metrics.
