The House Person is a part-time, onsite role based in Stamford, CT, with a pay rate of $18.00–$21.00 per hour. This position supports the Dining & Events segment at The Loading Dock. This role exists to maintain the cleanliness of event spaces and assist with event setup and breakdown. The House Person ensures that Abigail Kirsch’s high standards of quality are met for all events.

What you'll do

• Set-up, breakdown, and clean event rooms per diagram.
• Maintain a neat, organized, and safe working environment.
• Place linen and skirting on all tables for functions.
• Set tables with pads, pencils, candies, or other meeting materials.
• Refresh rooms in between functions and room turns.
• Monitor and refresh guest bathrooms during events.
• Empty trash as needed.
• Move furniture, tables, chairs, carts, and event equipment.
• Perform general repair and maintenance of the facility and equipment.
