Section Coordinator — Hospital Laboratory

The Section Coordinator role is onsite in Port Charlotte, FL. Pay is $32.62–$48.93 per hour, with a full-time night schedule and rotating weekends. The position supports a hospital-based laboratory services network serving hospitals, physician practices, surgery centers, and commercial accounts. The coordinator provides technical expertise and operational leadership for laboratory testing, prioritizing, performing, and delegating work according to patient information, staff competency, productivity guidelines, and department policies. The role also performs stat procedures, analyzes samples, documents quality control, and helps train staff to meet regulatory requirements.

• Prioritize, perform, and delegate laboratory testing

• report department operations to the Laboratory Manager
