The Dental Assistant, Pediatric Dentistry role is onsite at a multi-location practice serving Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, and Menomonie, WI. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. Smiles In Motion provides specialized pediatric dental care and patient experiences. The assistant supports the dentist during treatment and routine hygiene appointments, preparing procedures and instruments to help deliver efficient, high-quality care to children with varied ages, behaviors, and restorative needs.

What you'll do

• Review patient notes and prepare instruments for procedures
• assist chairside with operative procedures including extractions, fillings, crowns, laser treatments, and impressions
• hand instruments and supplies to the doctor
• retract and suction to support access and visualization
• mix cements
• perform routine hygiene appointments. Licensed Dental Assistants may be required to assist in an outpatient medical setting while a child is under general anesthesia.

Why this role

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM; licensed dental assistants may be required to assist with outpatient procedures under general anesthesia.
