What you'll do

• Define and maintain architecture for instrument control, automation, user interface, data acquisition, and data reduction
• translate user needs into system designs
• design, develop, test, document, install, and support software
• establish development and testing standards
• lead design and code reviews
• troubleshoot software and hardware/software integration issues
• coordinate validation with engineering and laboratory teams
• maintain architecture documents, specifications, test plans, and roadmaps
• mentor engineers and improve engineering processes.
