The Cook role is onsite in King, NC, with pay of $12–$18 per hour. The cook supports Rose Tara Senior Living residents by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals. The role contributes to residents’ well-being by preparing meals to menu plans and dietary requirements, maintaining food quality and sanitation, and coordinating with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff. It also helps accommodate residents’ preferences and special dietary requests.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, dietary requirements, and resident preferences
• serve meals on time with attention to quality, portion control, and presentation
• maintain a clean, organized, sanitary kitchen and properly store food supplies
• assist with inventory tracking and report shortages or order needs
• work with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff
• assist in training new kitchen staff as needed
• follow food safety and health regulations.
