What you'll do

• Provides physical therapy services according to a written physician's plan of care.
• Advises, consults, and teaches appropriate treatment procedures.
• Assists the provider in evaluating level of function.
• Participates in the development of the plan of care.
• Prepares clinical and progress notes.
• Translates all exercise into functional activities.
• Develops plans for modifying equipment and the physical surrounding.
• Confers regularly with attending provider.
• Interprets to the client and family the implication of the treatment.
• Provides families with information, support, and encouragement.
• Prepares and submits clinical and progress summaries.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants.
• Maintains accurate clinical records.
