Resident Assistant

The Resident Assistant role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. The role supports residents in a senior living community through personal care, daily living assistance, engagement, safety, and comfort. The position helps residents follow individualized care plans and supports dignity, respect, and meaningful daily experiences. The assistant provides hands-on care and delegated nursing tasks, communicates changes to nursing leadership, and may assist with activities, housekeeping, laundry, and meals according to community needs. The role does not perform medication delivery.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, meals, and engagement
• support safe transfers and positioning
• encourage and assist participation in activities
• complete required documentation and communicate changes or safety concerns
• follow individualized care plans and perform only tasks delegated by an RN
• assist with housekeeping, laundry, and dining support as assigned
• follow infection-control, safety, and emergency procedures
• report changes in condition, behavior, appetite, mobility, or skin integrity.

Why this role

Hands-on resident care in a senior living environment; prior senior living, assisted living, memory care, or long-term care experience is preferred. Medication delivery is not part of this role.
