The Full-Stack Engineer Trainee, Pop-Up & Email Marketing (Mandarin/English) role is hybrid in Cary, NC. Compensation is $80,000–$110,000 per year, negotiable based on experience. CWILL builds post-purchase and retention tools for Shopify brands, and this role supports its Pop-Up & Email Marketing team. The trainee develops engineering skills through mentorship and real projects, gradually building and releasing features across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, testing, and deployment. The work contributes to the team’s goal of a steady weekly release cycle, using AI tools as part of the development workflow.

What you'll do

• Develop business systems, internal tools, data tools, and AI applications with mentorship
• build small feature modules end to end, including pages, APIs, database tables, admin settings, permissions, data processing, and basic deployment
• use AI tools to break down requirements, generate and debug code, write tests and documentation, and build productivity tools
• collaborate with product and business teams on requirements, solution discussions, testing, releases, and retrospectives
• participate in code reviews and capture reusable engineering knowledge.
