The assistant supports emergency veterinary care from triage through treatment, working alongside veterinarians and credentialed veterinary technicians while helping comfort pet parents and maintain continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Welcome and triage incoming patients
• assist with treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics
• help set up and monitor anesthesia and sedation cases
• manage IV fluids, transfusions, and medication administration
• assist with outpatient and inpatient care
• participate in patient rounds
• learn CPR and RECOVER Rescuer skills through provided training
• develop advanced skills through guided training pathways.
