Shipping Clerk

The Shipping Clerk role is onsite in Webster, TX, with compensation of $16.50–$18.50 per hour. Cates Control Systems ships control panels and parts to customers. This role prepares and verifies outgoing orders, packages shipments, completes shipping records, and supports warehouse material handling. Accurate fulfillment and careful handling help ensure products reach their destinations in good condition.

What you'll do

• Prepare, inspect, package, and ship parts, panels, and materials
• verify items against sales orders
• create Bills of Lading, labels, and packing slips
• obtain freight quotes excluding UPS/FedEx
• complete quality checks and inspection documentation
• photograph shipments and maintain digital records and job folders
• maintain an organized warehouse
• load and unload shipments using a forklift or pallet jack
• assist with inventory and material movement
• perform routine shipping-equipment maintenance and report issues.
