Direct Support Professional – Day Program Focus

The Direct Support Professional – Day Program Focus role is onsite in Fort Collins, CO, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities during community-based activities and group outings. What you'll do

• Plan and support group outings based on individual interests and goals
• provide transportation and supervision
• teach and model communication, social skills, personal safety, and community behavior
• support service and behavior plans
• complete service notes and required documentation within 24 hours
• communicate progress and incidents
• use trained crisis-prevention and de-escalation strategies when needed
• report suspected mistreatment
• support employment exploration and job coaching when assigned.
