Job overview

The Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Truck Driver role is onsite in Tonawanda, NY. Compensation is $23–$26 per hour. Casella Waste Systems provides waste removal services on designated routes. The driver safely operates assigned collection trucks and completes routes while providing timely, courteous service to residential and commercial customers. The work also supports safe vehicle operation, accurate route documentation, and prompt reporting of incidents or service interruptions.

What you'll do

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• safely operate rear-load, front-load, side-load, and roll-off trucks
• complete assigned route sheets
• provide courteous customer service
• empty receptacles and clean accidental waste spills
• complete required paperwork
• attend required training and meetings
• notify dispatch about interruptions, incidents, accidents, property damage, or unsafe conditions.
