What you'll do

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, ambulation and transfers, dressing and shaving
• prepare meals and snacks
• accompany clients on errands or medical appointments
• perform light housekeeping
• provide hospice supportive care and medication reminders
• assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises and blood glucose monitoring
• provide care for bed-bound clients and incontinence care
• and use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.

Why this role

The posting requires a high school degree or GED, six months of HHA or PCA experience in healthcare, and successful completion of a state-approved nurse aide or HHA/PCA course and competency evaluation.
