What you'll do

• Monitor material flow, lumber quality, and equipment performance
• complete pre-shift equipment checks
• coordinate with upstream and downstream operators
• control and adjust edgers, trimmers, head rigs, and sorters
• inspect lumber dimensions and surface quality and remove off-grade boards
• follow lockout/tagout rules and wear required PPE
• clear debris and report equipment wear.
