The Data Scientist role is onsite in Chantilly, VA, with pay of $99.42–$134.64 per hour. Wyetech supports federal government customers in a mission-critical Intelligence Community cloud computing environment. The scientist develops and maintains large-scale data processing, ETL, database, and reporting capabilities that turn complex structured and unstructured data into reliable, accessible information. The role collaborates with government stakeholders and technical teams to support cloud applications and analytical requirements.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain data processing capabilities using Python, Apache Spark, and PySpark
• build and optimize bulk data pipelines and ETL processes
• transform and validate structured and unstructured data
• develop SQL queries and data models
• process logs and create reports, metrics, and dashboards
• support cloud-hosted applications
• collaborate with government customers and integration partners
• participate in Agile development and document technical workflows.
