Critical Facility Technician 2

The Critical Facility Technician 2 role is onsite in Richmond, VA. Pay is $34–$38 per hour. M.C. Dean designs, builds, operates, and maintains technology and infrastructure systems for mission-critical facilities. The technician maintains and monitors facility electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and automated control systems to reduce downtime and support reliable operations. The role performs inspections, troubleshooting, incident response, maintenance documentation, and coordination with vendors and team members.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC, electrical, and automated control systems
• conduct routine inspections
• respond to incidents and equipment faults
• perform electrical power isolation
• update maintenance systems
• assist with parts ordering
• conduct emergency-response drills
• complete risk assessments and training
• escort and manage third-party vendors.
