Senior Estimator — Construction Site Development

The Senior Estimator — Construction Site Development role is onsite in Kings Mountain, NC, with normal hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is not specified. CK Contractors and Development works on construction site development projects throughout the Southeast. The estimator develops project pricing by analyzing bid documents, site conditions, drawings, and specifications and obtaining subcontractor and material quotes. The role helps project managers and operations teams understand scope, budgets, production, and schedules before construction begins.

What you'll do

• Evaluate bid documents, site conditions, drawings, and specifications
• analyze project data and metrics
• obtain subcontractor and material quotes and seek cost savings
• develop pricing
• maintain vendor and contractor relationships
• present estimates to management
• prepare turnover meetings and documents for project managers and operations teams
• travel to job sites and pre-bid meetings to evaluate site conditions.
