Dietary Assistant (Kitchen Aide)

The Dietary Assistant (Kitchen Aide) role is an onsite, full-time position in Carson, CA. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour. WelbeHealth PACE helps seniors remain in their homes and communities through medical care and community-based services. This role supports safe, therapeutic nutrition services at WelbeHealth day centers by preparing vendor-prepped food for participant meals, following dietary instructions, and maintaining food safety and kitchen sanitation.

What you'll do

• Assist the Registered Dietitian with nutrition services
• store vendor-prepared food safely
• measure and record food temperatures
• prepare and plate meals according to participants’ dietary cards
• label and date perishable food
• track dish, silverware, food, and cleaning-supply inventory and order replacements as needed.
