What you'll do

• Perform radiographic procedures and follow requisitions and required views
• use medical imaging systems
• position patients and assist with transfers as needed
• take X-rays using established patient-care and safety procedures
• use radiation protection and shielding
• stock supplies
• report equipment malfunctions
• operate portable and C-arm equipment if applicable
• train and supervise student technologists
• provide backup support to medical assistants when applicable.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an accredited two-year radiologic technology program or equivalent military training, applicable state licensure and certification coursework, and Basic Life Support certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. No experience is required; orthopaedic experience is preferred.
