The engineer designs, integrates, tests, and assesses RF, radar, sensor, and electromagnetic systems for defense and related missions. The role takes designs from concept through prototype and evaluation, producing validated measurements and technical results for internal teams and customers.

What you'll do

• Design RF systems and subsystems for research and development prototypes
• develop requirements and perform analysis and trade studies
• own engineering work packages and validate results
• specify, source, assemble, and integrate RF hardware
• plan and execute test and evaluation
• troubleshoot and document results
• use RF laboratory instrumentation
• characterize prototype performance
• develop C++ and Python tools for instrument control, automation, signal processing, and analysis
• support multidisciplinary research, proposals, and technical papers.

Why this role
