The Electrical Engineer Development Program is a full-time, onsite, three-month program in El Segundo, CA. Compensation is hourly: $30 for a bachelor’s degree, $35 for a master’s degree, or $42 for a PhD, based on the highest completed degree at hire. Space Kinetic is developing a new architecture for space operations and space missions. Participants contribute to technical, operations, and business teams through mission-critical projects, with a mentor and one to three assigned projects. The electrical engineering work supports the design, assembly, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and integration of electrical and mechanical systems; outstanding participants may receive a full-time offer based on performance.

What you'll do

• Support design, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems
• participate in circuit and system design and analysis
• troubleshoot and test prototype equipment
• contribute to system integration involving sensors, data acquisition systems, motor drivers, and computers
• complete assigned projects and provide monthly progress updates to leadership.
