Group Leader, Automotive Manufacturing

This leader coordinates production, quality, and safety on the floor while training and developing team members. The position helps meet production schedules and product requirements through standardized work, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Train, develop, and evaluate hourly team members
• lead Global Manufacturing Systems processes and support launch and pilot activities
• meet production cost, schedule, and quality requirements
• communicate quality goals and address issues
• maintain working relationships with employees, union representatives, and management
• follow labor agreements and promote safe work practices
• apply lean manufacturing principles
• coach other Group Leaders
• and lead a team of approximately 10–25 people, with up to 30 used for planning.
