What you'll do

• Prepare treatment rooms
• record patient vital signs
• assist with general anesthesia and intravenous sedation procedures
• transfer instruments and prepare surgical dressings
• monitor intravenous fluids and vital signs during and after procedures
• take dental radiographs
• prepare prescriptions and consent forms
• maintain supplies and sterilize equipment
• provide postoperative instructions
• follow infection-control protocols and maintain CPR certification and emergency supplies.
