The Furnace Technician – HVAC Mechanical Repair, Entry Level role is onsite in Spring Grove, IL, with pay of $17.00–$24.75 per hour. Scot Forge is an employee-owned manufacturer of custom forgings used in infrastructure, energy, transportation, manufacturing, mining, and national defense. This technician maintains and troubleshoots furnaces and related industrial equipment to support reliable production. The work includes diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems, conducting furnace tests, and promoting a safe work environment.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, install, build, calibrate, tune, and repair furnaces
• troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment
• diagnose combustion, electrical, and mechanical equipment
• disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and reassemble heavy industrial machinery
• perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys and System Accuracy Tests
• operate and troubleshoot furnaces and control systems
• promote a safe and healthy work environment.
