Community Engagement Project Coordinator

Job overview

The Community Engagement Project Coordinator role is onsite and may be based in Verona, VA, or Charlottesville, VA. Compensation is $22.85–$24.50 per hour. The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is a regional nonprofit providing food and support to neighbors experiencing food insecurity; this role reports to the Director of Development & Community Engagement.

What you'll do

• Coordinate community fundraising campaigns, workplace giving, third-party food and fund drives, peer-to-peer fundraising, and event logistics. Support organizers, donors, volunteers, and community partners
• coordinate Speakers Bureau requests
• manage donor recognition and follow-up
• track funds, food, participation, and outcomes
• maintain CRM records, calendars, toolkits, templates, and project files
• and represent the Food Bank at select events and partner meetings.
