The Senior Database Engineer role is listed onsite in the 80011, CO area. Compensation is $200,000–$225,000 per year. Embedded in an Agile team, the engineer designs and documents data architecture and supports reliable, secure system operations. The role contributes through distributed data movement, performance and capacity work, high availability, recovery, administration, and analysis of system-level requirements and risks.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and document relational and non-relational data architecture
• engineer replication, concurrent access, failover, and high availability
• tune performance and plan capacity
• investigate and resolve issues
• manage backup, recovery, and users
• translate schemas and requirements using queries, scripts, and macros
• assess risks and alternatives
• collaborate with systems, software, test, and information assurance engineers.
