Senior Network Engineer — DoD Enterprise Infrastructure

The Senior Network Engineer role is onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA, or Albuquerque, NM. Compensation is $125,000–$132,000 per year. The position supports mission-critical Department of Defense enterprise network infrastructure and classified operations. The engineer designs, implements, modernizes, and sustains secure LAN, WAN, and network systems. The work helps deliver resilient, scalable connectivity while supporting customer mission requirements and applicable cybersecurity controls.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure
• engineer Cisco routing and switching
• support MPLS, VPN, and internet transport
• administer Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect remote access
• monitor network health and troubleshoot Layer 1–7 issues
• maintain engineering documentation and diagrams
• support technology refreshes, maintenance, incident response, and modernization
• collaborate with cybersecurity personnel on DoD policies, RMF requirements, and STIGs.
