What you'll do

• Obtain and document insurance benefit information
• validate and record payer details in Kinnser
• document deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums
• obtain start-of-care authorization for applicable managed-care cases
• monitor insurance tasks and eligibility
• follow up on physician orders
• assist intake, discharge planners, and referral sources
• contact physician offices or patients to clarify information
• schedule clinical staff after verification and authorization
• assist billing.
